Improved data allowances from Telstra will benefit consumers
Communications giant Telstra has announced that it is increasing the data allowances on its prepaid wireless broadband, which could provide a number of benefits for users.
When it comes to using mobile broadband services the data allowances that come with the service are hugely important to some people depending on what they plan to use the service for. Australian communications giant Telstra has now announced some good news that could provide a number of benefits for users of its prepaid wireless broadband service.
Telstra has recently announced that it is increasing the recharge data allowance that comes with its prepaid wireless broadband service on Telstra Next G, which is the fastest and largest national broadband network in Australia. Some of the increases will mean that consumers get up to three times more data without having to pay any extra money, and Telstra claims that this will help to meet the growing needs of those keen to use wireless mobile broadband.
Telstra has also claimed that consumers will benefit in a number of ways from the increased data allowances, which came into effect earlier this week. Some of the benefits that users will be able to enjoy include much larger data allowances for no extra cost, the ability to access the Internet more quickly, excellent value for money, extended recharge periods on selected allowances, and very good speed and coverage.
A spokesperson from Telstra stated: “With Telstra pre-paid there are no bills or fixed term contracts so it’s a great choice for people who want to keep track of what they’re spending month to month. We only charge customers for every kilobit of data they use so they can rest assured they’re only paying for what they use within the recharge period, giving them greater control and transparency. This, coupled with Telstra’s unmatched coverage3, speed and reliability on the largest and fastest national wireless broadband network in the country, makes Telstra Pre-paid Wireless Broadband an attractive choice for customers.”
