Internet Service Provider Internode has recently launched some new mobile wireless broadband plan, with three new ModeMobile Data plans for consumers to choose from.

With the popularity of mobile wireless broadband services having soared over the past year or two more and more Internet providers are keen to attract new customers and provide products and packages that will meet the demands of mobile wireless broadband users across Australia. This increased competition means that users of mobile data plans can enjoy better value for money and great choice.

The cost of the new data plans from Internode vary, ranging from just under twenty five dollars for 2GB of data per month through to just under fifty dollars a month for 6GB of data per month. An overhaul of the provider’s packages has also seen a restriction in prices, and this could mean that consumers can get great value for money on the Internode mobile data plans.

An official from Internode said: “We’ve replaced the two previous plans with four. Our overhaul of the Data Block pricing is because this concept has proved extremely popular on NodeMobile Data, so we’ve aligned the cost of Data Blocks with the cost of the actual plans. The old prices cost about $40 per GB whereas now it’s reduced to a range of price points, as low as $8.33 per GB – that’s nearly 80 per cent less than the original price.”

He added: “What customers love about NodeMobile Data plans is that they have no automatic excess usage charges, which avoids the mobile broadband ‘bill shock’. Your spend is completely within your control. If you use up your monthly quota, you’re offered Data Blocks to top up your service, or you can wait for your monthly rollover to refresh your quota. It’s your choice.”
