optus 250x142 Optus to launch sat nav smart phone for tech savvy travellersCommunications and broadband giant Optus has announced that it will be the first provider in Australia to offer a new smart phone that combines smart phone features and innovation with a high quality sat nav system.

There are many people that enjoy getting online whilst out and about through the use of mobile broadband and internet devices such as smart phones, and these users have benefitted from a rising number of high tech devices that have hit the markets over the past couple of years.

There are also many people that spend a lot of time out and about, and have become reliant on high quality satellite navigation systems, which can make their journeys far easier, far faster, and far more convenient and hassle free. The range of manufacturers that offer high quality sat nav systems includes Garmin.

Communications giant Optus has now announced that it will become the first provider in Australia to offer a new device that will particularly appeal to those that enjoy using smart phones and find sat nav devices really useful to help them to get around. The new device is called the Garmin-Asus A10 smartphone, and will be made available via Optus over the next week.
