iiNet shareholders voted in favour of AAPT acquisition

It has been announced in a recent press report from Internet provider iiNet that its shareholders recently voted overwhelmingly in favour of the AAPT consumer division acquisition, which will see the company become an even greater challenger in the world of communications.

The vote results were announced last week at an iiNet general meeting, and officials from the firm said that the support of shareholders reflected the confidence that they had in iiNet. The acquisition was set to be completed last week following the announcement of the vote.

iiNet is currently the second largest DSL Internet service provider in Australia, and this new acquisition will enable the provider to continue with plans for expansion when it comes to its services across Australia.
