Blackberry Pearl 3G now available through Telstra
As of this week the smallest smart phone from Blackberry, the Pearl 3G, has been made available in Australia through the nation’s largest mobile network, Telstra.
Mobile internet devices have become very popular over the past couple of years in Australia, and mobile broadband dongles as well as smart phones are used by many people to get online whilst on the move. The popularity of smart phones has been reflected through the rising number of these devices hitting the market, and one new offering has been made available through Australia’s largest mobile network this week.
The new smart phone is the Blackberry Pearl 3G, which is the smallest smart phone from Blackberry, and has been made available through the Telstra Next G network. The phone has been made available by Telstra and Research in Motion. An official from Telstra said: “The BlackBerry Pearl 3G smartphone is a beautifully designed smartphone that’s easy to use, compact, lightweight and stylish. Combined with our new, great value BlackBerry Cap plan, this smartphone makes it easy and affordable for social people to connect, exchange messages quickly, access info as it happens and share favourite moments.”
A spokesperson from Research in Motion said: “BlackBerry Pearl smartphones have always been popular in Australia with both consumers and business customers, and we are very excited to deliver the new, enhanced BlackBerry Pearl 3G to the local market.
