Xperia smart phone coming to Telstra in May
For all those tech savvy people that love getting online through the use of high tech smart phones there is some good news on the horizon, with communications giant Telstra announcing that it is launching the Android based Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 at the start of May.
For many Australian these days accessing the Internet whilst on the go has become important and even essential in the case of some business users, and many people enjoy getting online through the use of a mobile broadband dongle or a smart phone.
The popularity of smart phones amongst tech savvy consumers has resulted in an increase in the number of smart phones on the market, giving those that want a handset that will allow them to get online to enjoy plenty of choice and great value for money.
Communications giant Telstra has announced some good news for smart phone fans, after revealing that it will be launching its second Android based smart phone at the start of May this year. The smart phone in questions is the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, and this will be available from Telstra from 4th May according to the provider.
An official from Telstra described the handset stating: “A piano black finish, metal highlights and a stunning 4-inch screen make the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 one of the most distinctive looking smartphones available. Add to this a fast 1GHz processor to power rich phone graphics, video playback and multitasking plus a connection to Australia’s largest and fastest 3G network and you have an appealing package.”
He added: “Telstra Next G customers will also be able to personalise their Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 by selecting from thousands of free and paid-for applications available from the Android Market – including games, transport apps, productivity tools, fitness apps and news services.”
