Data on fixed broadband plans boosted by Optus
Broadband and communications giant Optus has boosted its data levels on fixed line broadband plans, which has given customers greater value for money.
Australian broadband and communications giant Optus has given some of its customers an early Christmas gift by boosting the data levels on its fixed line broadband plans. The provider has boosted data levels to one terabyte, which means that both existing and new customers will be able to enjoy far better value for money with their broadband service.
Updates have been made to the provider’s ‘Fusion’ broadband and home phone bundles, its mobile and broadband bundles and its standalone Naked broadband plans. This will be the first time that customers of Optus have access to a one terabyte plan that can be used at anytime of the night or day.
An official from Optus customer marketing said: “Our customers are telling us that they want more all inclusive bundles and higher data options from their fixed broadband plans – and that’s what we’ve delivered. Both new and existing customers will be blown away by the amazing value we’ve included in these new broadband bundles.”
He added: “Optus is committed to providing our customers with services which not only offer substantial value but are intuitive and easy to understand. The elimination of excess usage charges will enable customers to better manage their bills. Likewise, not restricting customers with peak and off peak times on our Fusion offers, will ensure customers can use their data as and when they want to without having to worry about watching the clock.”
