Communications giant Telstra has announced that it will be offering the Apple iPad2 Internet tablet from next week, enabling consumers to get their hands on the tablet on a two year contract or a prepaid plan.
Apple has become a huge hit amongst Australians over the past couple of years with the release of its Apple iPhones and now many Australians will also be clamouring to get their hands on the Apple iPad2 Internet tablet from communications and broadband giant Telstra, which is set to offer the tablet on both contract and on prepaid plans.
Telstra has announced that it will be offering the iPad 2 from November 15th. The tablet that will be available from Telstra will have WiFi and 3G connectivity and consumers will be able to enjoy affordable monthly payments on a two year contract as well as a range of prepaid plans. Anthea Roberts, Director from Telstra Mobile Broadband, said: “Telstra is delighted to make iPad 2 available to purchase from select Telstra Stores around Australia. Our customers will be able to buy iPad 2 on a plan that includes no upfront fee, a generous monthly data allowance and which allows them to pay the device off over 24 months. Customers will also be able to purchase iPad 2 outright and team it with one of our popular iPad Pre-Paid options that allows them to top up data as they need.”
The iPad2 will offer Australians a range of features and benefits that are ideal for those that want to get online whilst on the go. The second generation model is much slimmer and lighter than the original iPad, which also makes it more portable as well as better in terms of specifications.
