Useless
Pro: Price
Con: Everything Else
I have been an Exetel customer for almost 4 years. The only reason I stayed with Exetel for so long is because Exetel does not provide "service transfer" to another ISP (you have to disconnect the line completely, wait for Telstra to hook up a new connection, then wait for another ISP to hook you up with a new internet connection - this could take over a month). You simply CANNOT resolve anything through customer service - in fact untill 2011 you could only contact Exetel customer service by email (great when you want to contact customer service about your internet not working lol - you have no internet, so you have no email, so you have no Exetel customer service - this is just Exetel's way of making sure they don't have to actually provide PERSON to PERSON customer support). In the 4 years I have had problems with Exetel, I have NEVER been able to get anyone on the phone. Since late 2011 they have started providing customer support from a Sri Lanka office (you can imagine the quality of customer support you get from them). Exetel have actually stated publicly and directly to customers, that their core (main) programming/provisioning/network maintenance will be done from their Sri Lanka office (EXETEL dot COM dot LK) if you go to that site you will see the same staff (see pictures) as in Australia.

Exetel Broadband Review
You seriously get what you pay for. Our last Internet Service Provider monthly fee was $59 for 200 gig of data. We changed to Exetel for $49 for 200 gig purely to save a dollar. The transfer from the old ISP to Exetel went reasonably smoothly and confidence was good. Until recently when we were experiencing problems (tried on two different computers) we phoned Exetel useless customer support line. Well after the experiences with Exetel I can honestly say 'you do get what you pay for" After may frustrating phone calls and emails to and from, we now wonder who we have signed up with. We should have moved to one of the Australian ISP such as Internode or iiNet instead of trying to save a dollar we should have supported an Australian speaking, Australian Service quality, Australian reliability ISP.

Exetel Broadband Review
I have been using it for almost a year using my E220 with latest firmware. Downlink speed is @ 2.5mbps and at least two people can use it at same time with ease. I would recommend people to atleast try it. My thanks to Exetel.
