Virgin Mobile Broadband Review

Worst plan ever... I went over the data limit by 132 mb and they charged me an extra $230... no warning that I was going over the limit.... Slow internet as well, and no telephone reception in many suburban areas. Will never use them again. Call rates are through the roof and have expensive flagfalls, so you clock up expensive calls in no time. Be careful of reaching your limit.

Virgin Mobile Broadband Review

I decided to go with Virgin Mobile Broadband because I wanted a service with a pay as you go plan. I use the service in the Los Angeles area. I would expect there would be a strong signal there and the speed would be decent. Was I surprised! To me the service is just about worthless. 50 dollars a month is stealing and 5 dollars a month wouldn't be worth it. Save your money and stay away from Virgin Mobile Broadband. 1 star is too many to give this company but they didn't give a no star option on this review site

I recently purchased 3 g virgin mobile broad band 2 go at wal-mart (1 gb a month) as what I needed. worked great for 15 days,then stopped working !called virgin mobile , they sent me a new device.now they are telling me they cannot honor wal-marts 20$ a month for 1 gig bite, that it would be half a gb. that's not what I bought . go figure.

Virgin Mobile Broadband Review

Although coverage was fairly good travelling in Sydney and Canberra, the speed of this device was irritatingly slow. Often I found that sites with lots of graphics (such as the kids' games sites) frequently timed out while trying to load. Customer serice staff are unhelpful, difficult to understand and have a tendancy to blame the client rather than admitting it is a problem with the service. On one occasion they insisted it must be my firewall, inexperience, software, computer etc before finally admitting that the reason the connection would not work was that the 2 closest towers were not working at the time. I know the service offers fairly good value but that is useless if the service doesn't work well.
